Today, we'll take you behind the scenes of one of the most epic animated series of all time: Superbook, a CBN production. A labor of fifty-two thrilling episodes, adapted and dubbed at our facility, which we're excited to share with you! As you know, dubbing is much more than a simple literal translation... This art requires cultural sensitivity, vocal skills, and a deep understanding of the target audience. With Superbook, we undertook an adaptation process aimed at capturing the very essence of the original series, making it accessible and enjoyable for audiences of all ages. But let's not rush things, so let's start from the beginning! The first step was to select a cast of talented and versatile voices. In doing so, each character was differentiated by the distinctive characteristics that each actor brought to them, filling this series with emotions, nuances, and precise and unifying interpretations. The dubbing direction was entrusted to Jennifer Fantoni, whose experience with Arkadia attests to her attention to nurturing new talents. In our choices, we had the honor of collaborating with Simone Lupinacci, the unforgettable voice of the male protagonist, Chris; Veronica Cuscusa, our sweet and determined Joy, and finally Simone Marzola, who characterized the lovable little robot, Gizmo, the companion of adventures! We also had the privilege of collaborating with extraordinary talents such as Ruggero Andreozzi, Ezio Conenna, Emiliano Reggente, Paolo Sesana, Riccardo Rovatti, Luca Ferrante, Noemi Viviano, Alessandra Sani, Marcello Sbigoli, and many others, who made this product unique and unforgettable. However, our commitment was not limited to the choice of voices alone. Localization also involves the transposition of cultures and traditions, so that the audience can connect with the story authentically. Every expression, pun, and cultural reference has been impeccably adapted to the story of the Bible itself. We also paid particular attention to the original message that the series aims to convey. In fact, the adventures of Superbook are not just an exciting animated series, but a fascinating journey through space and time, through the history of the World: from the creation of Paradise to Noah's Ark, through the exploits of David against Goliath, to the birth of Jesus and all his wonderful works. Superbook offers the opportunity to explore profound varieties of values. With a combination of fun, emotion, and spiritual teachings, this series stands out as an opportunity for viewers to connect with their faith in an innovative and engaging way. Despite the challenges that this huge production posed to us, the final result was nothing short of rewarding!
